<p>A wise old direct marketing, once told me: &#8220;Never bring a product based on the colors and sizes.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;The basis of this opinion, of course, is the complexity and the inventory that we would be faced with many different characteristics of the product. A single product may vary in dozens of each SKU.</p>
<p>Those soft drinks are usually found with the same problems. Introduce a product, and some people want a diet based on, some consumers may want to caffeine, some without, some prefer the cans, some bottles of various sizes.</p>
<p>Coca-Cola &#8220;somewhere in the headquarters in Atlanta,” a timer that moans every time a production manager comes with a new idea, like &#8220;Coca-Cola Caribbean, with fresh pineapple and coconut flavor.&#8221;<br />

Coca-Cola has found a way to solve the problem of the proliferation of products and conduct real-time market research also through the introduction of Coca-Cola Freestyle.</p>
<p>Cola Freestyle is a new service soda vending machine that can dispense up to 100 different flavors of drinks.</p>
<p>The machine is being tested this summer in restaurants in California and Atlanta, with the intent to install the units throughout the U.S. early next year. Flavored teas, waters, juices and soft drinks, all these will be available from Coca-Cola Freestyle.</p>
<p>Allowing customers to choose based drinks brand, the content of calories or caffeine levels, through the touch screen interface of the system.</p>
<p>I think the aspect of this machine is really interesting, as well as its market potential for collecting data for various combinations of products.</p>
